Avner Kalay

Professor, University of Utah and Tel Aviv University

Professor Kalay's research areas include corporate finance, capital market theory and efficiency, economics of information, agency theory, optimal contracting, real options and micro-structure of markets. He is the co-author of the 1999 book Dividend Policy: It's Impact on Value, and has published more than 25 economic papers in financial, economic, and law journals.

Professor Kalay has received several awards and fellowships for his work, and has given dozens of presentations to national and international finance conferences. He is extensively involved in executive education programs in the U.S., Israel, Thailand, and Switzerland, and has testified as an expert witness in numerous cases.

Dr. Kalay received a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Rochester, and a B.A. in economics (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.
